This Privacy Policy explains how Visoniq TechCore Pvt. Ltd. ("Visoniq TechCore", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use Citanzo ("Citanzo", "the Platform", or "our services").
Citanzo is a business operating platform for local businesses and service providers. The Platform supports bookings, queue systems, customer management, reminders, reviews, analytics, inventory, staff management, and related business operations.
Citanzo is the customer-facing brand. The legal owner and operator of the Platform is Visoniq TechCore Pvt. Ltd. References to Citanzo in this policy refer to services provided by Visoniq TechCore Pvt. Ltd.
By creating an account, using the Platform, or allowing your customers to interact with your Citanzo booking pages, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to operate the Platform, provide business tools, process subscriptions, deliver notifications, and improve our services. The categories below describe the main types of information we collect.
Business account data
- Account owner name and contact details
- Business name, category, and location information
- Phone number and email address
- Staff profiles, roles, schedules, and access permissions
- Inventory records, service catalogues, and pricing
- Customer records managed by your business
- Appointment and booking data
- Queue entries, wait times, and walk-in status
- Business settings, preferences, and configuration choices
Customer booking data
- Customer name, phone number, and email address (when provided)
- Booking notes, preferences, and service selections
- Visit history, status updates, and appointment outcomes
- Reviews, ratings, and feedback submitted through the Platform
- Communication metadata related to reminders and confirmations
Customer booking data is collected on behalf of the business using Citanzo. The business is responsible for informing its customers about how their data is used.
Technical and usage data
- IP address, browser type, and device information
- Operating system, language, and time zone
- Log files, error reports, and diagnostic events
- Session identifiers and authentication tokens
- Performance metrics, load times, and feature usage patterns
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8)
Analytics data
We use analytics tools to understand how the Platform is used and to improve product quality. This may include:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and similar web analytics services
- Future analytics, product analytics, or conversion tracking tools we adopt
- Usage analytics related to pages visited, features used, and onboarding completion
- Aggregated and anonymised insights used for product improvement, reliability, and security
Where required by law, we will request consent before enabling non-essential analytics or marketing cookies.
Communication & Notifications
Citanzo enables businesses to communicate with customers and staff through multiple channels. Depending on your plan and settings, the Platform may send or facilitate:
- Email notifications
- SMS messages
- WhatsApp messages
- Push notifications (where supported)
- Transaction and booking confirmations
- Appointment reminders and queue alerts
- Review requests and follow-up messages
- Account, security, and billing notices
By using Citanzo, you consent to receive operational communications necessary to run your account, including security alerts, billing notices, and service announcements. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your customers before sending marketing or promotional messages through the Platform.
Message delivery depends on third-party providers and carrier networks. We do not guarantee delivery times or read receipts for any channel.
Payment Information
Paid subscriptions and certain transactions are processed through third-party payment providers. We currently use Razorpay and may support additional payment processors in the future.
Citanzo does not store complete payment card numbers, CVV codes, or full card credentials on our servers. Payment information is handled directly by the payment processor in accordance with its privacy policy and security standards.
Subscription billing
- Recurring subscription charges for paid plans (such as Solo and Business)
- Automatic renewals unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Failed payment retries, suspension notices, and account status updates
- Free trial periods and conversion to paid subscriptions where offered
- Invoices, receipts, and transaction history stored for billing and compliance
Payment processing is subject to the terms and privacy policies of the applicable payment provider. We may receive limited billing metadata such as payment status, last four digits of a card (if provided by the processor), billing address fragments, and transaction identifiers.
How We Use Data
We use collected information for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Providing and improving booking, queue, and business management features
- Operating customer records, staff tools, inventory, and analytics
- Sending operational notifications and facilitating reminders
- Processing subscriptions, billing, and account administration
- Detecting fraud, abuse, security incidents, and policy violations
- Monitoring performance, debugging issues, and maintaining reliability
- Providing customer support and responding to inquiries
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Service
We may use anonymised or aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify you or your customers for product analytics, benchmarking, and service improvement.

We do not sell your personal data or your customers' personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
We share information only when necessary to operate the Platform, deliver features you enable, comply with law, or protect rights and safety. Categories of recipients may include:
- Payment providers (such as Razorpay and future supported processors)
- Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers

- Email, SMS, and WhatsApp communication providers

- Professional advisers, auditors, or authorities when legally required
Examples of infrastructure and service partners may include cloud providers (such as AWS or equivalent), messaging APIs, email delivery services, and analytics platforms. These partners process data under contractual obligations and only for specified purposes.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, government request, or to investigate fraud, security issues, or violations of our policies.
Storage & Infrastructure
Data may be stored and processed using cloud services, CDN networks, database systems, backup systems, and file storage infrastructure operated by us or our service providers.
Files you upload may include business logos, photos, service images, documents, and other media required to operate your public profile and internal workflows. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to upload and display such content.
Backups may be retained for disaster recovery and business continuity. Backup retention periods are limited to operational needs and security requirements.
Reviews & User Content
Businesses and customers may submit content through the Platform, including reviews, ratings, notes, images, and business profile information.
You retain ownership of content you submit. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited licence to host, display, process, and transmit that content solely to provide our services.
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of content they upload, including customer data and marketing materials.
We may remove or restrict content that is illegal, abusive, misleading, harmful, infringes intellectual property rights, or violates our Terms of Service or applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Account and profile data: retained while your account is active and for a limited period after closure
- Booking and customer history: retained according to your plan, business needs, and operational requirements
- Billing and transaction records: retained as required for tax, accounting, and compliance purposes
- Logs and security records: retained for monitoring, incident response, and fraud prevention
- Backups: retained for a limited period as part of disaster recovery processes
When you request deletion, we will delete or anonymise data where possible, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business needs (such as billing records or security logs).
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and monitoring for suspicious activity.
Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel. We review security practices as the Platform evolves.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and controlling staff access within your business.
International Processing
Citanzo primarily serves businesses in India. However, data may be processed, stored, or transmitted in other countries where our service providers operate.
When data is processed across regions, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law and contractual protections with our vendors.
Children's Privacy
Citanzo is intended for businesses and is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Platform, contact us at support@citanzo.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information.
Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Access: request a copy of information we hold about your account
- Correction: update inaccurate account or business information through settings or support
- Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention limits
- Export: request export of business data where export tools are available or through support
To exercise these rights, email support@citanzo.com from your registered account email. We may verify your identity before processing requests.
Account Closure
You may close your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support. Upon closure, we will deactivate access and begin deletion or anonymisation processes where applicable.
Certain records may be retained after account closure, including:
- Billing and tax records
- Legal and compliance documentation
- Security logs and fraud prevention records
- Backup copies for a limited retention period
Customer data you collected through the Platform remains your responsibility. You should inform your customers about your own data retention practices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice through the Platform or email.
Continued use of Citanzo after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
